Why we built it this way

The brief we set ourselves was a holiday scene that survives being handled, because this is a model that gets moved every December. The base is wide, the figures sit on studs rather than friction, and the tree twists on a collar that doubles as the light switch — nothing to unplug and nothing to unscrew when the box comes down from the attic.

It stands 8.8 inches tall and 4.9 inches deep, which puts it on a mantel or a hall table rather than a crowded shelf. ABS throughout, smooth edges, and a printed gift box it can live in for the other eleven months of the year.

What builders wrote

The tree lights up!!

I love it! Everything came in separate clearly labeled bags. Instructions were clear. Very easy to build, except for the wreath that kept falling apart. Similar to the name brand but for half the price.

Fun to put together!

I bought this for my teenager. It took some time to put together because there are many pieces. But it was fairly easy using instructions and very enjoyable. It became apart of my Christmas decor and is so cute!

Nice decorative piece,fun build

Nice build, good quality. Attractive finished product. Only issue was attaching the nutcrackers to the base, they are not very sturdy and they fall off easily.

Great Christmas Building Set

Bought this set to do with our 7 and 5 year old boys. They love legos. The directions were very easy to follow and the pieces stayed together well. Our 7 year old could do a lot of it by himself. It did take us some time to build because of all the different parts and pieces. As a bonus the Christmas tree even lights up. Once put together the whole thing is pretty sturdy and we could easily move it. I’d definitely recommend this set.
